What is powder coating?
Powder coatings are based on polymer resin systems, combined with curatives, pigments, leveling agents, flow modifiers, and other additives. These ingredients are melt mixed, cooled, and ground into a uniform powder similar to baking flour. We use a spray gun to apply the powder to a grounded metal surface. The specialized gun gives electrostatic charges to the powder particles, which are then attracted to the grounded part. After we apply the powder, we bake it in a curing oven where heat causes the powder coating to chemically react and turn into a hard, durable surface.
Can you powder coat wood or plastic items?
No. The curing oven temperature reaches around 400 degrees, which will burn or melt those products.
Why should I powder coat my items instead of paint?
Powder coating protects the roughest, toughest machinery as well as household items you depend on daily. It provides a more durable finish than liquid paint sand a more attractive finish.
Powder coated surfaces are more resistant impacts, moisture, chemicals, ultraviolet light, and other extreme weather conditions. So you're less likely to experience scratches, chipping, abrasions, corrosion, fading, and other wear issues compared to paint.
It's tough. It looks great. And it lasts a long, long time. In addition to being durable, powder coating is an attractive choice due to environmental advantages.
What’s your return policy?
You may return any product that has not been powder coated to your standards. Just send us a picture of the issue, and we will arrange for a return to fix it at no cost to you.
Do you ship overseas? What about P.O. boxes?
At this time we do not ship outside the United States, but we can ship to P.O. boxes.
Once you receive my item, how long does it take to complete?
Standard turnaround time is one week after we receive your item(s). Large orders may take more time, which we will let you know when you place your order. If you have a rush item, please let us know in advance, and we will do our very best to accommodate your schedule.

Where are you located?
We are based in Villa Rica, Georgia, less than an hour west of Atlanta.
Where can I see a selection of colors?
We mainly use Prismatic Powders, which offers more than 6,500 options. While we don't stock all 6,500 colors, we have a variety of popular hues available. If we do not have your preferred color, we will recommend a similar in-stock option, or we can place an order. Please note that base coat and top coat can change the tone of all colors.
How large of items can you powder coat?
We can powder coat items up to 2 feet x 2 feet x 2 feet. We are in the process of expanding our oven to take products up to 4 feet deep and 5 feet wide/tall.
